Volunteer News

Three volunteers, Mark Langdon, Ian Hopkins and Greg Bourne had a very productive day at the Saturday working bee October 25th. It was a day of vegetation control between Albion Street and Lowes Mount Road. Main achievements were

  1. Spraying the weeds west of the line up to the AKD fence, the two tracks 6 foot and the 4 foot to the frog that separates the line from the stock yard line. 300 litres in total
  2. Did an emu parade on mound of dirt next to Lowes Mount Road – got rid of stones and rubbish that might cause a problem with the mower. Then mowed the whole mound.
  3. Whipper snipped the bits we could not the mower to.

Thursday 30th, Friday 31st and Saturday 1st November

Main activities will be vegetation control, track work and the Saturday Shunt.
